Where: SC Department of Juvenile Justice 4900 Broad River Road
Columbia SC 29212
When: Jan. 29, 2010 @8:30am

A thorough and complete crime scene investigation is the foundation upon which a crime scene reconstruction is built. Thus the cornerstone of all shooting incident reconstruction is documentation. This course will introduce the fundamental principles of crime scene documentation that are required to re-create the approximate estimates of bullet path trajectories using lasers, dowels, forensic mannequins, and other replicas. Tubular Dowel Crime Scene Reconstruction is a new concept seated on traditional principles that will be explained and demonstrated for students. Crime scene reconstruction exercises will be incorporated into the presentation.
